West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK A/W 15 Launch

After a not so bright Summer in Northern Ireland this season,I was glad to receive an invitation to the West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK A/W 2015 launch.Which would take place at the very quirky "Life" church on Bruce Street Belfast. This location has been used already for two seasons and it'll be used for the A/W 2015 West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK fashionshow and events. This season I took inspiration from some fashion magazines and I was automatically drawn to the seventies trend.I then spoke to the very talented Nor-Lisa and she drew up some ideas for me and designed a outfit which catered to my own personal style.Nor-Lisa designed a very unique seventies inspired crop top and printed pleated skirt for me to wear to the launch.

I wanted to go for quite a casual look this season,so I decided to style this outfit up with some assorted textured bangles and a metallic bronze bag.I then finished the look off with some textured snake skin metallic bronze heels to complete the overall seventies inspired look.

The day of the launch was a lovely sunny day and when we entered the "Life" church, we were welcomed by the Cmpr staff who were very friendly, followed by some social shots taken by famous local photographer Brendan Gallagher. When we walked into the reception room we were treated to some very fine italian cuisine by local Belfast restaurant "Fratelli" in the form of canapés,which were simply divine.
After the canapé reception we were directed towards the main room and we were welcomed in with a refreshing west coast cooler.During the fashion talk we had another two delicious surprises.Firstly we were presented with the cutest box and inside was a handmade giant macaroon from "Miel et Moi",which I must admit was unbelievable.Secondly there was a frozen yougurt stand  by "Yogland NI".Both companies are located on the Lisburn road in Belfast and are Newly open,so it was really good to trial out their products.

Afterall these tasty treats it was back to the fashion,Cathy Martin gave us a talk on a range of trends she was using this season in the form of twenty very professional Cmpr models dressed in twenty trends showcasing this season to celebrate twenty seasons of "west Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK".Cathy stated that this season we should be dressing in winter brights, contrasting block colours, statement sequin pieces, fringing, prints, metallics, brightly coloured faux fur coats, seventies and eighties inspired blouses, pleated skirts, and grandma chic and she urged us to raid our grandmas wardrobe for this key trend.
