Tropic Pure Plant Skincare

Image
Recently I was contacted by a lovely women from my home town Enniskillen. She explained to me that she was a representative for the brand "Tropic". Katie Wilson is a sales women for the brand and she told me about its founder Susan Ma. After appearing on BBC's The Apprentice in 2011, Susan was given the opportunity to present her passion and vision for natural and cruelty free skincare to Lord Alan Sugar. Impressed by the products, he spotted a unique business opportunity and invested in her brand and became a 50/50 partner. I was very impressed by the brand and the fact that Lord Sugar thought Susan Ma's creation was good enough to invest in. I jumped at the chance to trial out these natural and cruelty free products. Katie gave me some skincare, body care and makeup products to trial out and in this blog I have brought you my favorites, so that you can try them out too. West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK S/S 17 Press Launch

Fashion never freezes over, as we've seen proof of that from the show stopping looks last season. We now prepare ourselves for the most epic fashion trends for S/S 17. Yesterday I attended the launch of West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK S/S 17. Hosted at the cosy surroundings of Robinson & Cleaver in Belfast. The event was full of the most stylish people around, dressed in this season's hottest trends. A banquet of delicious foods were served, along with Belfast FASHIONWEEK'S sponsors West Coast Cooler and Lavazza Coffee who served exquisite cold and hot drinks.  Cathy Martin talked us through the schedule and key trends of mellow yellows, popping pinks, lavish layers and beetle-juice inspired stripes that adorned the stunning CMPR models. Returning to venues across the city of Belfast from the 23rd-26th March, the full schedule of super stylish events is available online at www.belfastfashionweek.com, and tickets can be purchased now from the Belfast Welcome Centre on 0

Amphora Aromatics Limited

In the past few years I have been very interested in natural skincare, as my skin is particularly very dry and extremely sensitive to harsh paraben's and artificial perfumes. Many mass produced products contain these ingredients on the market and instead of nourishing your skin and protecting it, they do the total opposite. They still do the job but if we are going to be realistic, they are only temporarily soothing and cleansing your body. Recently I came a across a UK brand who's products do exactly what they say on the tin, as they say. They are not temporary and they even help your skin in the long run. They are perfect for anyone like myself who has very sensitive skin.  Amphora Aromatics is one of the UK's biggest suppliers of Pure Essential Oils and Aromatherapy Sundries.  I trialed out some samples of their specific shamp oo range and I have to admit,  I was extremely impressed by the quality and soothing natural ingredients th ey contained.

Pretty in Pink

Embrace your feminine side this season coming, as the colour pink is a key colour trend for S/S 17. The pink trend is taking over the high fashion catwalk's in the form of ruffles, metallic's, pleats and much more. Personally I've always been abit of a tom boy and never wore any shade of pink, but now I'm starting to love it as there's soo much to choose from in terms of shades and fashion designs. Whether its to add a splash of pink to a little black dress in the form of a jacket or even to go the whole way by dressing all in pink. Make sure to take advantage of this super girlie trend, especially when Valentine's Day is just around the corner. www.topshop.com Petite Velvet Twist Crop Top £19.00 www.cruisefashion.com KENZO Embroidered Tiger Sweatshirt £175.00 www.houseoffraser.co.uk Love Moschino Love Stitch Flap Over Purse £75.00 www.mango.com Crystals metallic jacket £59.99 www.urbanoutfit
