The Happiness Trap

Ever find yourself wasting time walking around Enniskillen looking for good and wholesome healthy food that fits your dietary requirements.  Well many of us do and I find myself regularly doing the same.Untill I came across a hidden gem in Enniskillen.  Located in the middle of the high street "The Happiness Trap" caters to mainly vegan and vegetarian clientele as their food doesn't contain any meat.I am a meat eater myself, yet this is one of my favourite cafés in Enniskillen. Recently I have been trying to eat a little cleaner and I find myself wanting something a little more vegetable based a few days in the week,so this is the perfect place to eat.Since "The Happiness Trap" opened their doors weekly from Monday-Saturday,they have been providing the most delicious breakfast and lunch dishes to their customers.

Recently they decided to open a restaurant Friday and Saturday evenings at their premises.  Myself and my fellow blogger and designer sister Lisa McCabe thought we'd jump at the chance of checking out the new evening menu,as we adore the food and drinks at "The Happiness Trap".
When we entered the restaurant the day cafe had been transformed into a high class heaven.  The evening decor fitted in with the restaurants overall interiors, which I personally think is very important as consistency is key.  The staff welcomed us with opened arms and directed us to our table.  We were then offered a drinks menu and the new mocktail menu, where I was especially amazed by the unique mocktail blends.  I don't drink alcohol myself,so I get very excited when I see very special mocktails. We were given the evening set menu whilst we waited for our drinks.  The menu had a wide range of dishes from starters to desserts .  Our drinks soon arrived and they were phenomenal from presentation to the taste.  Then we ordered and we were given some fresh olives to nibble on whilst the food cooked.  Music played in the background whilst candles were scattered across the restaurant given off a very relaxing zen feeling.  After a short wait our food came and when we finished each course the next was soon delivered.

My overall experience of the food was unbelievable .  I would defiantly recommend this evening set menu to anyone who's looking for some tasty healthy food on a Friday and Saturday evening.  The Happiness Traps evening menu changes every week given a new  and fresh culinary experience everytime.Along with a very affordable price of £25 per person for a three course meal.

If you'd like to book a table for any Friday or Saturday their contact details are on their Facebook page or drop in to the cafe during the day as a member of staff will be very happy to help!!!
