A new love for Adidas

Growing up i saw a lot of sports wear in my small town, i never was a person who really loved the generic tracksuit most pop/rave fans would wear, as i preferred wearing more edgy clothing associated with the rock genre. Through the years my style and music taste has evolved and now in my twenties i am more open minded to new styles. Fashion designers have turned the working class tracksuit into a high fashion must have. Recently i have been extremely impressed with the sports clothing brand Adidas. Adidas has really out done themselves in the last few years, collaborating with designers such as Stella McCartney, Jeremy Scott, Mary Katrantzou, Kanye West, Rita Ora and others world wide creating some unbelievable pieces and selling them at a very reasonable price. One collaboration i particularly love is the collaboration between Adidas and the FARM company. The FARM company hails from Brazil, the land of the eye-poppingly colourful toucans, fresh-squeezed maracuja juice and the party-to-end-all-parties known as Carnival. In short, the antidote to grey skies and drab days. The FARM company brings its Rio aesthetic to Adidas Originals with a collection of riotously colourful prints. In this blog i have included some of my own favourite designs which i have purchased online and on the high street. I have also included some designs from the Adidas Original brand which is on my Christmas wish list!!!
