West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK S/S 16 Designer Boutique Night

Every season at West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK I always look forward to the Designer Boutique night.This particular night we see some amazing show stopping  catwalk collections from local irish designers and designer boutiques.Spring/Summer would be my favourite season and I was dying to see what the local irish designers and boutiques had in store since the launch of  West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK S/S 16 in January.This season I have really fell deeply in love with printed kimonos and colour blocking.So I asked the very talented Nor-Lisa Fashion Designer to design me my very own printed kimono style dress for the show,using the colours and florals I personally liked.After a week Nor-Lisa created a beautiful floral printed wrap dress which was in the style of a kimono.I was mesmerised by the final design and I was very excited to wear it to the event that evening.I decided to wear bright orange wedges and a matching orange clutch,which had a quirky blue Pom Pom and cream tassels attached to it.The only jewellery I wore was a pair of delicate koi fish earrings and my gold Michael Korrs watch to finish of the overall look.

When I entered the venue of West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK at the "Life" church on Bruce street Belfast.I was greeted by the very talented photographer Brendan Gallagher,who took my social shot for the event.I then was offered a West Coast Cooler drink,which unfortunately I declined as I don't drink alcohol.Instead i had a very refreshing Vita Coco lemonade,which was also offered to me by some friendly Vita Coco promotional staff.

Before the show we had the chance to have a wee nosy around some retail stalls,which I have to admit really passed the time.Whilst I was having a little look,I mingled with some fashion blogger and designer friends also.Cool FM was playing some trendy tunes and a lovely women took a photo of myself and my friend Courtney Kirker at the event.When the show was about to start my friends and I were directed towards the main room,were we took our seats at the front row.Local irish designers such as Nor-Lisa who amazed us all with her very summery collection full of floaty,colourful printed pieces of art.Grainne Maher and her boutique collection took to the catwalk where she showcased the most stunning designs,other designer boutiques such as Diamond Dolls,Spoilt Belle Boutique,Sarah Alexandra Boutique,Jourdan,Blush and Lotus also wowed us with the most elite designs.There was not one dull moment at the Designer Boutique night and the CMPR models were flawless as usual.The makeup was unbelievable and was created by the very creative staff at Oonagh Boman school of makeup,these makeup artists used quality makeup from internationally known brand Senna.The sleek hair was created by the most skilled hair stylists from Jason Shankey hairdressing.I want to thank Cathy Martin and the full team at FASHIONWEEK for making my evening very comfortable and enjoyable.
