 I love to see new local brands take their flight during these uncertain times. Local Fermanagh women, did just that. “Mammy Mia”, founder Leanna is a textiles designer who creates unique handmade designs, from her lovely home in Co.Fermanagh. The name came from her beautiful one year old daughter, who is called “Mia”. Mia was her inspiration to work from home, so there they reside together “Mammy&Mia”.  Mammy Mia was created during the first lockdown 2020. It all started when Leanna was on maternity leave and just wanted to get back to the textile industry. So it’s 2021 and we are in another lockdown, if I’m honest I’ve lost count. We all have to look after ourselves and others. Simply sending a message can brighten up anyones day. It is very important to keep the normal traditions going. Simply celebrate these events a little differently. After all these normal events such as Birthdays, Valentine’s Day, St.Patrick’s day and Easter will help us mentally deal with the pandemic. If you cannot be with your loved ones.
