When life gives you lemons

Image
I haven't been an active blogger in some time, blame it on lack of motivation or even just life.  Recently I had a wake up call about life and how precious it is. Whether we experience extreme heartache or a simple change in our lives, we still have to remember that our lives matter. So if your feeling blue or feel like you can't bare to accept change. Look after yourself and let your loved ones in. The power of love is an incredible thing, self care starts from within. Help yourself first and even if its hard and you don't want to change your life goals. Start with something small and give yourself time to heal. I have included some simple yet effective things in this blog to help you and I on our way. Bellamianta Luxury Tanning - Local NI Tanning Company

Image
Through the dark and cold winter days, we need something to warm us up and make us feel a little more alive.  Recently I had the pleasure of reviewing the Irish luxury tanning brand Bellamianta.  Bellamianta is one of only a handful of local tanning company that are both based and  manufactured in Ireland. The range provides clean, nutritious, luxury tanning products formulated with the cleanest ingredients without compromising on performance. The parcel I was gifted contained a luxurious velvety mitt (the most deluxe mitt I have ever came across), a full sized 200ml dark self tanning tinted lotion and a 50ml instant tan. Upon application I exfoliated and washed using non oily products as recommended. I then applied some light oil free moisturizer to my elbows, knees and feet. When I was ready to go, I applied a small amount of the dark tanning lotion to my mitt and started gently rubbing in the tan using circular motions.  I started with my arms and worked my wa...

A short break to Portrush

Image
Ever feel like your life is stuck on repeat? I’ve felt like that recently, as my fiancé and I are saving for our wedding.  Last month I took a weeks holiday and we decided to take a trip to Portrush.     To the seaside we went with our bags packed.  Our first day we took a long walk around the beach.  After that we went to a outside pool, where my little princess splashed. Beside this outside pool stood a little homely cafe in the “Arcadia” , were we had a cup of tea and delicious raspberry muffins.  We finished off the day taking in the beautiful coastal scenery.    On the second day the sun was beaming and we couldn’t wait to explore. Once we had breakfast, we went to Barry’s amusements where my fiancé, my daughter and I took a ride on the famous Barry's carousal. Afterwards we took ourselves to the beach and I started to feel like we weren’t in Portrush, but in the Canary Islands.  The heat was unbelievable and I couldn’t get over...

West Coast Cooler FASHION Designer&Boutique Show

Image
We all look forward to the warmer months, particularly when it’s a chance for us to try out the latest trends for the coming seasons. I always start the new season off with West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK. This year the event was hosted at the Belfast Cathedral.  As we entered the venue we were welcomed by the lovely CMPR team. As usual Brendan Gallagher took our social shots. Sponsors West Coast Cooler gave out complimentary drinks, which really hit the spot. As we mingled with the rest of the bloggers and fashion lovers, we also had the chance to browse some pop up stalls from well known businesses such as“The Sugar Room”, “Freeist”, “Benefit” and many more!!! We saw amazing designs from local designers Nor Lisa, Grainne Maher, Anthea Mc Neill and Ruedi. Local boutiques and brands such as Jourdan, Blush, Lover Of Luxe and many more showcased their latest collections on the West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK catwalk. From multi coloured knitted designs to classic little black dresses Wes...
